Work with Me

Psychologist & Speaker

I'm not about psychology as usual. Instead of seeing each person as a diagnosis or pattern of pathology, I see you as a unique individual. Long before “positive psychology” was a new topic, I saw a person's positive traits and strengths as their defining characteristics. Instead of being another force that is trying to get you to fix your flaws, I focus on your strengths: the talents and aptitudes that God has blessed you with.

On the other hand, I’m someone who is very real and tells you what no one else will. I have a subtle sense of humor and believe in getting down to the heart of the matter. I don’t waste time with fake nice. Many books on positive psychology seem to have fake-it-till-you-make-it advice. This is not reality. Pretending to be someone you are not is not accepting the real world as it is.

I am a genuine caring and compassionate person. I care deeply about the well-being of the people around me. I’m good at observing what is really going on, and I love to encourage people to grow into their potential.

After my own journey of healing from fatigue and burnout, I help others reduce stress, fatigue, and burnout. I specialize in helping people who have big hearts, such as family caregivers, helping professionals (e.g. teachers, counselors, and nurses), highly sensitive people (HSPs), customer service representatives, etc. If you are ready for something different and someone who gets to the heart of the matter, schedule yourself into my calendar to see if we have a fit.

My Values

It is impossible for me to work with someone without expressing my values. Our values are what make us who we are. It is false and unhealthy for us to try to be blank screens that never offend anyone. I can’t tell my life stories without telling you that I place my faith in God. He is my firm foundation Who strengthens and sustains me.

On the other hand,  I respect your freedom to decide your own values. It is not necessary for you to believe in God in order to benefit from psychology and neuroscience about how the brain and body work. As such, I do not use faith in sessions unless it is important to you.
